At the ESOC (European Space Operation Center) we migrate all Domino User from existing AIX servers to Solaris servers. This migration processhad been executed throughout every suborganisation in more then 10 countries for more than 2000 users.

By the use of the fully automated tool "Migrator" the administration had mastered this task in a fraction of the time and was able use the saved time for other important tasks.

Thanks to the comprehensive report mechanisms, problems within the mail databases could be found very quick and could also be repaired within a short time. Otherwise adminstrators had only supervising tasks to do, if the process was triggered without errors.

Design and prototype development of a domino administration application which had to guarantee the trouble-free relocation from up to 70000 Notes users onto a consolidated server platform. This tool should have been able of run on NT, IBM's OS390 as well as Solaris. Analysis and adaptation of different C based domino server tools, (especially for NT written) on OS platforms OS390 and Sun/Solaris.
